OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE

Holistic approach to health

Osteopaths utilize a variety of hands-on techniques such as pressure, massage, stretching, and manipulation to rectify abnormalities in the body's musculoskeletal structure. This aids in the body's resumption of normal function. The most common neuromusculoskeletal problems treated by manual osteopathy are back and neck discomfort, sciatica, athletic injuries, and postural strain. Simply said, optimizing structural balance permits the physiology to function at its best.

SPINAL DECOMPRESSION THERAPY

The best tool for back pain relief

Spinal decompression therapy is a type of motorized spinal traction that may help with back or neck pain, disc herniation, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, spinal nerve root compression, facet joint syndrome, sciatica, etc.

Spinal decompression therapy works by creating a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or repositioning of the herniated or bulging disc material. It also creates a lower pressure in the disc that will cause a promotion of movement of oxygen and nutrient-rich fluids into the discs so that proper healing is promoted.

MASSAGE THERAPY

Treat those injuries or simply relax

Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.

Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy.
